Submitting Photos The Photo Gallery

The Photo Gallery is a place to share photographs taken of Mystic Valley Hunt Club riders and events. Follow the guidelines below for submitting your photos to be considered for publication in The Photo Gallery.

1. Photos to be published in The Photo Gallery must be of MVHC riders or trainers. The photo could have been taken at MVHC, or at an "away" show or similar event that is being sponsored by MVHC (such as the Hunter Pace Clinic) or that MVHC riders are participating in (such as the Medal Finals). The point is, The Photo Gallery is for the use of MVHC riders and their photographs.

2. Do not submit more than a few photos for any event, preferably not more than three. If you have a large number of photos you wish to have published in the photo gallery, please contact the MVHC webmaster to determine if that will be possible.

3. DO NOT submit your original images! Submit only copies.

4. Photos should be in focus (not blurred), should clearly show the person, event or action of interest; and the object of interest (for example, the rider jumping a fence) should be large enough in the picture so as to be clearly recognizable. Blurry or otherwise poor quality photos will not be published in The Photo Gallery.

5. All photographs to be submitted MUST be in JPEG format. Please be sure that the file size of the photo you wish to submit is not so large that it cannot be easily sent by email. Photographs less then 1MB in size are prefered.

6. The name of the person who took the photo; the name of the person, event or place of whom or where the photo was taken, and the date, must be given in the email accompanying your photo. Photos that are submitted without this information will not be published in The Photo Gallery.
